In Greek mythology, Elpis was the Spirit of Hope. Hope and healing are centered in our collective.

The Elpis Collective.

Our Priorities

Understanding that continuous learning, self-reflection, openness, and humility is imperative, we strive for equity and social justice in all that we do. We celebrate all individuals, groups, and families. We affirm all identities. We stand for active anti-racism and anti-oppression. Humbly, we seek suggestions, criticism, and advice on how we can do better.

Our Services

Legal Advocacy and Representation

We offer legal advocacy through several services. Our experienced family law attorney specializes in working with individuals and families experiencing abuse and violence, including narcissistic abuse and other forms of relationship abuse, through divorce and custody proceedings. Our attorney is also passionate about her role as a Best Interest Attorney, which allows her to protect the best interests of a child through a divorce or child custody case.

We also provide expert witness testimony on the dynamics of abuse and violence within relationships and families. We are pleased to represent individuals, ourselves, or we can partner with other attorneys in offering our expertise and advocacy services.

Education and Training

With more than 50 years of combined experience in abuse and exploitation, victim/survivor advocacy, legal advocacy, clinical social work, prosecution, program development, program evaluation, and management, we offer education and training in many different areas. A few areas of expertise include trauma and healing-centered practices, vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue, the intersection of law and practice, best practices in advocacy, therapeutic interventions, and more. We offer 1-hour seminars, half-day workshops, and full-day trainings.

General Consulting Services

We consult with individuals and organizations in our areas of expertise: family and relationship abuse, interpersonal violence, child exploitation, family law, child custody, trauma, and healing-centered practices.

We also provide organizational consultation on management challenges, organizational strategic planning, grant writing/reporting, healing-centered and trauma-informed program and policy development, legal consultation, and more.

Program Development Support

Our team helps agencies and organizations to develop strategic plans for program development. We assist with program planning, developing logic models and outcome metrics, and creating implementation timelines.

Data Analysis and Program Monitoring Support

Our team supports agencies and organizations in program monitoring, which is the systematic process of collecting, analyzing, and applying data and information as a program proceeds. We are experienced at analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, and we believe that a combination of both forms of data best represents a program.

Research and Program Evaluation Support

The main objective of evaluation research is to determine whether or not a program or initiative has achieved a goal or yielded the desired outcomes. Evaluation research is an integral part of the program development process, especially in the early design phases, and is continually utilized to improve programming. When the actual impact of a program can be measured, programs are strengthened, and community needs are met. Our team helps agencies and organizations with the development of research and program evaluation frameworks, output and outcome identification, data collection plans, and implementation strategies.
